#244, Wow take no prisoners. I hope George Will retires and sets up a permanent Box seat behind home plate 24-7 365,rain or shine.

Oh come on, that would be unfair to those who read the Wash Compost only for the sports section.

Although, George Will having a 2,000 word column about baseball every day would make great business for those who make custom bird cage liners as a living.

I wouldn't even doubt that a few jabs at Bush weren't made during their talks.

Oh you can make book on it.

This narcissistic, pompous arse is especially revolting in that he tries to make the pretense that he's your friend or ally, all the while twisting the knife in deeper.

I probably missed that one, over the past year I have learned so much about how to look up things and do beginning research on the web, that there is no telling how much I have missed in the past. FR has been an enormous source of intel and info for me.

One thing that worries a lot of people is the amount of foreign debt that china holds of ours.

Not only that, as China's largest customer, WE are their goose that lays the golden egg. One thing people do not understand. When you start talking this sort of money the Buyer, not the Seller, controls the market. They MUST have access to our market, we choose to buy from them. Big difference in between those who must and those who choose.

#252, I am so far behind I am back on Saturday I think. Really good post, and commentary. Freepers do so well feeding off one another, and it never appears ego driven,it is that freepers want Security and all the best for our Country, and all it's People. I think Baby boomers in particular that are having grandchildren are really seeing that if they do not do something now their beloved grandkids will live in a much more dangerous world than they live in now. They are looking way in the Future,so there will be a future.

Now, the DPRK and the IRA are malignant tumors caused by the underlying disease of totalitarianism. Bush is and was justified in branding them as great dangers.

Correction: IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran); Ireland is not involved to the best of my knowledge!

Did Lanny Davis actually use the phrase "fellow travelers?"

LMAO!!!!  What a maroon!

From The New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy, Third Edition:

fellow traveler

One who supports the aims or philosophies of a political group without joining it. A “fellow traveler” is usually one who sympathizes with communist doctrines but is not a member of the Communist party. The term was used disparagingly in the 1950s to describe people accused of being communists.

And I love the "see also" link from Wikipedia:

Lannie and Katrina, neither one ever elected to any post. Two elements undermining the power of the people, media and political consultants.

Hope Hoekstra is happy being a Congress critter. This may feed his ego to whore after the Junk Media's love and grandstand like this, Republicans voters, however, do not reward political treason. Pity we do not have a strong Congressional leadership. This would be one seat to cut a drift. Delay would of told him " Dumb move Pete. Now go get yourself elected, no money, no support and next Congress, no Chairmanship. Oh, and don't bother writing any earmarks or bills, they are DOA".

It would be cruel and unusual punishment to inflict Lindsay Cornpone on the esteemed (har har) Justices.
