Well, at my station, they have a pair of young, fit, alert Port Authority policemen looking intently at the those entering. They didn't send the timeservers out for this duty, nor would they if they had this kind of info.
You are absolutely 100% correct. It irks me when people fail to understand the simple notion that we have an individual responsibility towards our security and the security of our families. Many fellow citizens have been defanged and have grown soft over the decades.
