Darn right!
Bait/feeder hunting is only done by the most pathetic excuses for men around.
Are farmers pathetic? That's what it is really, farming, putting meat in the freezer.
It depends. There many places where bait hunting is the only practical method. Where the terrain is thick, dry mesquite, you can't see ten feet and the critters can hear you coming a quarter mile away, no matter how "manly" you are you aren't going to go in and sneak up on one. You have to draw them out of the brush to shoot them. Also there are some people who simply aren't physically able to hike for miles. I'm happy to see them able to still participate in the sport withing their abilities.
IMNHO most arguments against a particular hunting method simply serve to divide hunters and help the anti-hunting types further their agenda. Be it hunting mountain lions or bears, trapping, using dogs, baiting, high fences, or whatever, if they can isolate a part of the hunting community they can ban it piecemeal. The old divide and conquer.
