Thanks. no dems and I had a brief offline discussion. Suffice that neither of us has modified our position. It was inappropriate of me to suggest that another person and their loved ones suffer pain with no relief in sight. Perhaps it could even be construed as "ungodly". I am compelled to publicly apologize for my statement. This does not mean that I agree with the laws and policies that are in place. Few people have heard a loved one beg for relief from pain, and even beg for death in order to be relieved. I posit the question: is it more ethical, moral (or legal) to impose pain and suffering; or administer euthanasia? I know the correct answer. Perhaps others may exhibit the intellectual honesty to defend their position in a public forum. Alas, the discussion will degenerate to recommended professional dosage.
