A man that hires Naomi Wolfe to help him become an Alpha male does not belong in this country. Let's check Box office Mojo from last weekend:

An Inconvenient Truth

Place: 13

Last week: 14

Weekend gross: $1,690,035

Percent change: -16.2%

Number of theatres: 587

Change of theaters from last week: +73

Total Gross: $12,452,038

Weeks since release: 6

So this buffoon author thinks that when you add 73 theatres from the previous week, and yet you drop 16.2% in revenues, that that is success. It's a embarrassing flop. Period. And a work of fiction as well.

Gee, so impressive. Ranks third after Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" (which grossed $119 million) and "Bowling for Columbine" ($21 million). We all know what box office bonanzas those crockumentaries were!

Al Gore's global warming movie or terrorist training movie? Sounds like the terrorist like his ideas.

I'm starting to gather that, except for us Freepers, a good bit of the general public seems to have reached a critical mass in accepting as proven fact even the more radical anthropogenic global warming theories.

Not only that . . . moviegoers in the 'red states' may only going so they can laugh at algore, jeer at the screen and mercilessly mock the entire thing.

Nobody with any sense would take anything algore says seriously.

Just the fact this was reported by the San Francisco Chronicle should give no credence to this story. Move on...

I really loved it when the left was out pushing Michael Moore saying you just need to see the movie to have a leftist epiphany. The left operate on the flawed assumption that if conservatives only had all the "facts" we would bow down and worship the trough of liberalism. Only someone who picks and chooses convenient facts arrives at Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth".

The problem for the global warming disaster advocates, is that Al Gore - craven, truth-challenged, politician - has become the poster-boy for their cause. This can only hurt their case - there is no upside to being associated with Algore.

Every other day some dimbulb writes a letter to the editor of the local paper insisting that this movie will save us all. Idiots.

I'm a teacher and during one of the last days of school I was walking through the teacher's lounge when a liberal (surprise!) colleague chirped "Have you seen Gore's Inconvenient Truth yet?"

I replied - loudly - "Here's an inconvenient truth for Al Gore - HE LOST!!!" Man that felt good...

""Truth" is the third-highest-grossing political documentary of all time, behind Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" (which grossed $119 million) and "Bowling for Columbine" ($21 million)."

Compared to "The Passion of the Christ" at $370 million.

Why the fawning over Al Gore and his movie? Why not highlight the respected scientists (incl MIT prof in atmospheric science) who have grave doubts?

The Gore movie shows South Florida going underwater. Gore, though, he says, not in the movie, claims that within ten years we will hit a tipping point or point of no return. Yet, it is easy to see through the hype. We can almost certainly predict:

-We will be, in ten or twenty years, on the wrong side of the tipping point from Gore's point of view. China and India will continue to use more and more fossil fuels. The best we could do is slow down the increase, and even then it would be marginal.

-Florida will NOT be underwater in 50 or 100 years.

This is reminiscent of other phony hypes of the last forty years. Why not expose it as such?

This all about PROPOGANDA, nothing else....

The World is ending, the sky is falling, and the only thing that will save us is Al Gore, Higher Taxes, And Radical Socialism.....

I remember these clowns telling us in elementary school that the world would end in 2000, too.....

the third-highest-grossing political documentary of all time, behind Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11"

Political Documentary ? Neither one is truthful enough to even gleam the word "Documentary" they are supposed to be written in truth studied and researched in truth politics aside !

Unless of course it is a Political Documentary then your stuck with whats left over from outright lies and half-truths ...

It's not like there aren't Moonbats in our Midst here in the Heartland.

We just outnumber them.

Our District goes 70-80% Republican, but the chain movie rental outlets still have multiple copies of Fahrenheit 9-11 on the shelves.

And .. Michael's Moore movie hit red states too - but it didn't gain him anything .. in fact .. I believe it hurt the left's cause - especially when it was learned that most of the left's congress people attended his D.C. airing.

Just search for the words "global warming" and you might be surprised at how many articles there are AGAINST what Al is saying.
