I finally figured out what the left is. The left is cancer on the body of Western Civilization. A cancer cell if it could think would think of itself as normal and progressive. It would view noncancerious cells as abnormal and recessive. Cancer seeks to take over and control its host. Cancer don't want to kill it's host but it ends up doing so if it does take over.
Every complex life form risks cancer from a mutation. In Western Civilization that mutation was Karl Marx. If the Cancer ever got total control of the World then mankind would be back to the Dark Ages within 200 years. Cancer is death and so is the Left.

Isn't it strange that the favorite name the left gives itself is "progressive"? That, too, fits well with your cancer analogy.
