look at what 8 years of Clinton gave us... China fully nuclear now, NK on the verge of becoming one. that bastard!

Truly frightening.

Carter started the ball rolling with creating the image of the U.S. as weak and bumbling (Iran hostages, only action was sending 3 helicopters, from a military he had decimated, that crashed into each other in the desert - then sat in the Rose Garden all but comatose for months.

Clinton/Albright/et al make a sweetheart deal with No.Korea (sweetheart for them) - whereby we send them millions each year in return for not developing the nuke...and then never thought to check up on it.

Then the reports of hundreds of thousands of campaign contributions from the Chinese in return for technology that they have, evidently - big surprise - put to good use. (And NO investigation of these illegal transactions, let alone charges) -

And Bin Laden struck because he had gotten away with striking many times before, with little to no retaliation....Sadam - etc etc.

WE have a president now who understands the danger, wont molly coddle tyrants, won't cut and run like the dimWits did in 'nam - and everyone vilifies him and aids the enemy.

I am reminded that we sold scrap mettle to Japan before WW11 - that built bullets, bombs, Kamikazes and battleships...

frightening times again

I'm tired of blaming X42 for everything that happens (although he deserves it). Why don't we just start kicking some ass?

My Pop (who took part in five landings, including bright and early at Normandy on June 6, 1944) said there were plenty of folks concerned about all the scrap going to Japan. The way he put it was, "if we keep sending 'em all that iron, they're gonna throw it back at us." Amazing how so many people fail to learn from history.
