Clinton also allowed "Chinese businessmen" to tour Picatinny arsenal R&D. Nice of him.

I can't believe that these new subs are anywhere near comprable of one of the Ohios...can WE even track the Ohios? My guess would put it somewhere in line with one of the Delta III/IV. The Air Force might be a problem, and with that many men, the PLA is a significant force...but it seems to me that the ChiCom Navy would have a very short but VERY exciting life in the event of a shooting war.

<< .... it's not like the Chinese military would be armed with rocks and pointed sticks were it not for Clinton.
The Chinese first had "missles" tipped with "nuclear warheads" "aimed at US cities" (during) "the Reagan Administration." >>
Such was its pre-Cli'ton-regime efficacy, that -- but for the Cli'tons' personal and "administration's" tacit approvals and/or participations in un-and-anti-American sales, thefts, treasons, technology transfers and tradeoffs -- the peking-based predatory pack of lying, looting, mass-murdering, warlord-wannabe ghastly gangster bastards that so grandiosely calls itself "china" might as well have been armed with rocks and pointed sticks.
And even after the Cli'ton thefts and transfers of around a Trillion Dollars worth of America's most precious computer, engineering, nuclear, rocketery and every other imaginable kind of civilian and military secret, that gormless, gutless gang couldn't fight us for a determined American month.

"In fact, the progress of chinese military powers lies in the advancement of its mili-tech, not the increase of its modern mili-equipment." Yes, well said. That is the crux of China's advancement. With X42's help, of course.

Clinton made it available via Loreal corp.. I thought that Loral accidentally lost the precise guidance system to the Chinese, and Bernard Schwartz (CEO) ponied up millions in DemocRAT campaign contributions allegedly to get the company free of the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) violation charges. Campaign Finance Key Player
I recall that Am. Spectator did an article many years ago about how General Dynamics had assisted China in developing accurate missile guidance systems.
I'm quite sure that a number of presumably loyal U.S. companies have assisted in selling China the rope to hang us. And after appropriate payoffs, skipped free of the penalties under law.

Chinese were Clinton's buddies, Mexicans are there for GWB! Americans? Ahh yes, mustn't let a thread go Mex-illegals free. Quite a stretch to equate the two or have I missed something? Is Mexico building nuke subs, missiles, etc - did they get super secret military technology from Bush? How big is their standing army, their navy, their air force? (apples and oranges.)
On the other hand, you iceberg photo is great.

anybody think the Chinese could or would make a successflul 'First strike' on the US ?. What would be left for the Chinese to achieve. Nuclear wind ,rain, irradiated soil and the absolute certainty of period of 'darkness' for the whole Planet maybe lasting hundreds of years. That is likely to wipe out everybody including the ChineseAhhh, but what about the E-bomb?

The Chinese will not launch nuclear weapons at the United States. Why would they do this when they can merely buy us out in another century and turn us into a subsidiary of their country?
How will this happen you ask? Well, the current trade deficit with the Chinese will continue, and grow worse as time goes on. Then, at some point, the Chinese will revalue their currency with regards to the Dollar and the most massive buyout of American corporation by foreign companies will take place that you have ever seen.
The now-Chinese owned companies will need Chinese managers and directors, of course, and a wave of communist Chinese immigration will take place as American management is replaced by "guest workers".
Between this event, which will replace American workers at the top of the economic food chain and the flood of illegal aliens which have replaced American workers at the bottom, we shall find ourselves living as strangers in our own land. Oh, and conservatism will be DOA as a political philosophy by the turn of the next century, and we shall have done it to ourselves.
Ask yourself, if what our current economic masters tell us is true and that a desire for a manufacturing economy is so outdated, why does China desire to become the world's premier manufacturing economy? And why has the wealth of the Chinese nation ramped up in direct proportion to their having done this?
Protectionism is the only tool that can halt Chinese ambition; unfortunately many of our own conservative brethren are too foolish - or too shortsighted - to see this.
