I do not want the condition of a woman's hair to become a determining factor as to whether she is allowed to have children. You're isolating one factor. If someone who is normally well-groomed becomes habitually unkempt, that's a sign of a deteriorating mental state. If you've known me for years as someone who's always clean-shaven and wearing tailored suits, and one day I show up for a meeting with a three-day stubble wearing a bathrobe, that should send up red flags.

Okay ,you are right on that account. I am worried that slobs will be put away as potential child murderers.
I have heard people exclaim. "Well! She looked awful". In truth ,based on her pictures , I do not think I would have given her a second look if I had seen her in Walmart. To be honest Andrea Yates looked better than most of the poor people I see at Walmart. This is not to say ,I think Walmart shoppers are child killers. The only difference I saw between pictures of Andrea Yates when she was young and when she was old could have been attributed to age.
You are right those pictures tell me nothing about the personal habits of Andrea Yates.

(I love hateful people. They help me unload karmic debt.)

Red flags that we should have the police bust down your door and have you arrested for multiple murders? We would probably just assume that you had finally gotten laid.
