That's not the *intelligent designer* that is at issue. Nobody is denying that humans design things. What is at question is the evidence for a designer of the universe and a director of the evolution of life.
Human intelligent designing is not evidence for the alleged intelligent designer of the universe, unless you want to claim humans designed the whole thing.

Therefore, those gifted with the special insight to understand these things know with absolute certainty that some unknown "intelligence" from somewhere, at some unknown time, in some unknown way, did some unknown thing to intelligently design the flagellum. It's just so obvious!
