Your point was... underwhelming. Margulis has not attacked evolution in any way. He arguments are based on science, which cannot be said of ID.

CarolinaGuitarman, I didn't say she had "attacked" Darwinism or evolution-- I said she had challenged the standard account of the ubiquity of competition in evolution, which she has with her "co-evolution" theory.

Co-evolution does not discount competition. She is in no way an opponent of evolution. ID on ther other hand has no scientific basis, and is purely a theological claim. There is no similarity between the two.
