As at today, he is the most electable prospective Republican candidate for 2008.


"The NRA and Right to Life will crush him"

I am not even sure either of those organizations is going to back McCain, or determine who wins the Republican primary even if they don't back Rudy.
Rudy can easily win the primaries in the Blue State plenty of Red States as well to win the the nomination

I agree with you. If it does come down to him, we'll finally see how much power the Religious Right really does have in the Party. It's amazing to me that there are those here who would rather Hillary win than Rudy.
