August 22/23, 1996 was also the date of UBL's fatwa -
Declaration of War Against the United States.
Bin Laden signed it on 8/23 but it would have been the 22nd in this hemisphere.
Coming up on the 10 year anniversary of the fatwa.
USINT needs to read TM if they want to keep up. ;-)

Thanks Vel.
This is a bit more than disturbing. Too many "coincidences" of timing lately.

But Ahmadijehad would separate the ACLU lawyers
heads from their bodies, before he separated church from state.
A fact which the ACLU won't recognize.

According to Muslim tradition, a warning must be issued. Perhaps a coincidence, perhaps not. I believe there's more than one warning required. Is this the second warning or third?

22 Aug is the date of primary elections in Alaska. That is probably why Iammadjohn chose that date. Whoa, your comment's out of touch and off base...

What is clear is that Ahmadinejad does not see himself as an Iranian leader, but a Muslim prophet, using imagery to portray himself as a messiah for both Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims. Stinky should have an unfortunate accident.

I thought Moses "only" got the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai, not the whole Old Testament. LOL. The guy thinks that God wrote the OT ahead of the books after Exodus.

"I LOVE THE SMELL OF NAPALM IN THE MORNING....." Unfortunately, I don't think we use napalm anymore. It was deemed too horrific and inhumane by the "politically correct" crowd.
It is a hell of a note that we fight with our hands tied behind our backs. I think it would be very useful in rooting the Taliban out of caves in Afghanistan.

Seems rather non-stop to me. It's hard to keep count. Yeah, you're right. It is hard to keep track of how many threats are in each category. What a crazy world we live in...

Thinks for the reminder of the 1996 threat.

What is disturbing is that it took our intel people sooooooo longMore disturbing is that some Freepers accept as fact the premise that our "intelligence community" is always clueless.

More disturbing is that SOME Freepers accept as fact the premise that our "intelligence community" is always clueless. Make that, "MOST Freepers", and it's more accurate. Because AS WE ALL KNOW, only Spec Ops are REAL soldiers, right, FReepers?
