Great book. Why it hasn't been more widely read is a mystery to me.

I've known about it for years and just now ordered it. Why? I don't know, that is an interesting question. I remember 9-11, standing in the living room listening to the radio and telling my wife, "you know this means we will be going into Iraq". Seems like a strange statement now with all the effort put into discounting the Iraq/terrorist links, but roll back the clock and remember the drumbeat against Iraq even during the Clinton years. I've always had a gut feeling Saddam had more to do with terrorism and 9-11 than the MSM lets on. I suspect the Clinton admin did all they could to cover up a lot of those connections, I suspect the reason was to not disturb the American people with the facts. In the end I don't know if there will ever be take to the bank truth about many of the things like flight 800, OKC etc.

I think it is amazing your liberal friends believed the book. When did they read it? And what are their feelings on the WOT now?

Great book. (U>"The Third Terrorist") Why it hasn't been more widely read is a mystery to me.

~~~~~~~~~
No mystery, really. The left and a noisome cadre of government (agency) apologists (including some here on FR) have honed the art of applying ad hominem attacks on those who question "The Official Version of Events" to a fine point.
They have (nearly) succeeded in turning the term, "conspiracy theorist" into a direct, opprobrious link with "tinfoil hats" and raving lunatics. When they write and speak, you can almost hear the sneer of the likes of FBI aplolgist (and outright liar), Danny Defenbaugh.
Thank God, Jayna Davis has bravely maintained the good sense and integrity to plow through hordes of such nay-sayers in order to successfully reveal unsavory aspects of the truth. Woolsey notwithstanding, IMHO, America already owes Jayna Davis a huge debt of gratitude!!
So, the next time you are put off by one of the FR FedShills (or TXDOT shills) trying to stigmatize you as a "conspiracist", ignore them, or slap them down, (with words) and, using Jayna's example, charge right ahead with seeking and speaking the truth!
For, when you get right down to it, the War on Terror is, in essence, a war against conspiracies. (See 9-11-01...)
(Personal aside for t-a-o: "Granddad got a new, bigger hammock, and is enjoying sharing it with three granddaughters -- and a grandson -- this week!" <LOL!!>)
