IS IT TIME TO ELIMINATE NORTH KOREA'S NUCLEAR CAPABILITY?
Federal Review ^ | 07-06-2006 | marblehead17

Until tonight, I felt like the crazy little woodchuck's insane actions were like that of a child throwing a temper tantrum. My belief was that we should continue with BILATERAL talks with China, Russia, Japan, Korea, and North Korea. After all, why should the US do anything unilaterally, right? If the news I'm hearing out of Japan is correct, then my views have changed.

This is not a fight we want to get into. Let Japan and South Korea deal with the nutball.

What news is that?

Sure Mr. Perry would like nothing better than to see us add a Fourth Front (Afghanistan/Iraq/HOME)

Short of using a large number of B-61-11 and B-83 bombs, destroying North Korea's nuclear program would be nearly impossible.

it would be an "all or nothing" war. we can't just hit a few missile bases and their nuclear reactor - and leave their million man army and artillery pieces and short range missiles along the border sitting there.

China is driving all of this anyway.

The clintonistas would love to have President Bush go to war with NK. They would have a field day and definitely impeach him. They would like nothing more. If a clintonista recommends it--watch out!!

I heard something interesting tonight...

I was listening to John Gibson's radio talk show...with Steve Malsberg subbing for John.

He had on a lawyer for some Korean Peace group..and his name was Eric something...and was associated with Wendy Sherman.

Wendy Sherman is the woman on all of the talk shows...that supposedly was the one that brokered the deal in 1996 with North Korea for the Clinton Administration...and she works for Madeline Albright right now..

Anyway...he said that Wendy Sherman has said that when that "agreement" was made, between KJI and Clinton...NEITHER party was intending to keep their word.

When Malsberg asked him to repeat the the USA had no intention of sticking with the agreement, he said Yes...because the Clinton Administration THOUGHT that this N. Korean regime was going to crumble at any time...and so it wouldn't be NECESSARY to have to deal with them..or consider the long range consequences of giving them what they wanted.

Does that shock you, as much as it shocked Malsberg, and ME??

Considering that Hawaii is an Island chain, and pretty much the only thing in that area, I would like to know the exact area where they think the missile was headed.

Is 400-500 NM a threat? Should we see it as a threat?
