That's what I thought at first too, but what he actually wants excised from the movie is the "race the train" scene, as that is how his kid died.

Having said that though, I think this is a bit ridiculous. If anyone is going to see a cartoon car race a train and decide that is a greenlight ofr them to do the asme in real life, then there's some pretty serious issues there, far more than can be blamed on a movie.

I grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard, and as far as I recollect, I've never had the urge to jump a river because I was in a hurry.

Maybe we were just smarter. I don't remember music influencing my choices but look at the rap/thug culture.

I haven't seen this movie but a scene in which a car runs a train isn't really a bright idea. Admittedly, it's targeted to kids who don't drive yet but........we object to "sex education" in grade school and this is actually no different.

"The Dukes of Hazzard" was a sacred hour in our house, topped only by "Monday Night Football."

Oh, how I wanted a car with doors welded shut.

Then I grew up a little and started wearing skirts and realized the impracticability of my dream.

I jumped a river once, the bridge had been washed away in a flood from years past. Anyway, using my vast knowledge (mostly gained from watching TV & movies and listening to the guy who smells funny on the street corner) I jumped the gorge or river or whatever it was and I made it! Both cop cars crashed into the stream (or whatever it was) and cursed me as I landed, the problem is I kind of tweaked my neck in the process. Because of this I sued the producers of the Dukes of Hazard, Hooper (the movie) and everyone involved in the filming of Smokey and the Bandit but the case got throw out on some BS technicality.

Anyway, I would like to try and sued again but in more of a class action lawsuit kind of suit but I need people who have had similar experiences as the one I have had. I will be fileing early next year.

Well, I was never stupid enough to try it, but I did have the urge.
