The ongoing, internal conquest by the Islamists must be dealt with forcefully by the Iraqi government, whose stated goal is democracy and security for all Iraqis.

The Coalition forces should address the violence against religious minorities and not regard them merely as an inconvenient detail. Their fate is a harbinger for all Iraqis, Muslim as well as non-Muslim.

It will be almost impossible for the coalition forces to stop the Islamist from terrorizing the minorities in Iraq

But they should insist that the new Iraqi government make some effort to stop the killing and terrorizing of the Iraqi minorities.

Some way also needs to be found to stop the Imams from teaching this form of Islam.

Just a suggestion, but follow the money. These so-called "Imans" are bought and paid for with Saudi cash. We (or the new Iraqi government) could shoot them, or we can start playing hard ball with the folks south of the border. Same deal with the Shia crap from the Eastern border.

Either way works fine with me.
