Steyn asks a good question. The Times has so far shown no interest in analyzing captured Iraqi documents, just as it showed no interest in reporting on revelations about the Venona operation.

Where are the NYT investigative journalists going after Osama's secrets, and Al Queda's operation procedures? That's what Daniel Pearl of the WSJ was doing. The NYT reporters prefer to stick with safe targets.
