With his death from a massive heart attack on Wednesday, Ken Lay cheated justice. And then some. Not only will the Enron founder not end his days in prison, but according to legal precedent, his entire case will be erased from the records.

LOL ..... you are using the wrong equipment!!!! People no longer associate theft with pitchforks and torches, especially if their name is on one of those monthly stipends.

"He didn't cheat anything. He freakin' died.
The only people feeling cheated are the press who have been using all the misery the Enron fiasco caused to make money."
sooo true. So he didn't suffer long enough I guess. Looks to me like his intense suffering stopped his heart. Seems like that should please them.

Cheated justice? With all the ways Justice cheats us, all Ken would have done is appeal after appeal until (like the tabacco rulling) it got thrown out, or he exhausted all his funds on legal fees.

I'm not so sure Lay's assets cannot be touched. He was already convicted; all that was left was the sentencing phase. I have a feeling this will go round and round in the courts for a long time. This will also give the Left plenty of opportunities to keep yanking the name back up.

The media really wanted to get pictures of Lay going to prison. But I want to see the editor and owners and reporters of the New York Times being marched to their justice for treason which they have committed. It is a much greater crime that Lay ever even through about. And I see no investigation of the traitors to put them in jail to meet justice where they belong.

Ken Lay did not operate in a vacuum, his employees were in on the scam. They would scurry to fake trading rooms and act busy to impress investors. No one who owned Enron stock complained while the scams were making them money; they only complained when the bubble burst and they did not reap the "rewards" they expected.

Does anyone know exactly what Ken Lay did that Congress and the Democrats haven't already done to the rest of the population?Thread over, game, set and match.
To: Libertina
DIEING wasn't enough of a penance? Lefties are mean all the way inside. I wished Lay could have lived and had a chance to make good his life again and pay his debt.
Lets look at the left and the criminals they support.
Free Mumia!!!!!!!!!!!(you know the convicted cop killer)
Free Johhny Walker Lindh the Taliban teen caught fighting troops and whose group is responsible for the death of a cia agent in afghanistran.
Yet corporate criminal Ken Lay dies before he can rot in prison and the Left FEELS CHEATED!
To: MIchaelTArchangel
Exactly.
Plus now they are getting the benefit of court settlements, reward for their own greed and stupidity.

Yes, cheated. Because the Left doesn't believe in divine judgment, Ken Lay escaped the only judgment they think he was likely to face... Theirs. Bump.
Ken Lay is facing a judgment greater than anything that he could face here on earth.
And the media scribes and pharisees will face theirs in due time too.

For the sake of conversation and to start the conspiracy theories, what substance (or cocktail of substances) can mimic a massive heart attack?
To: dfwgator
Wow, that jibes so well with what I just saw, which was Ken Lay getting on a private jet with a Dairy Queen milk shake and four big suitcases bulging with hundred-dollar bills! The captain told me he was going to Ecuador.

Using the standards employed during the Salem Witch Trials, the left would have to reach the horrifying conclusion that Ken Lay was actually INNOCENT!
If a suspected witch were held under water and emerged alive that was proof the suspect was a witch. If the suspect came up dead, they were innocent.
Isn't this the same mentality they use in Massachusetts today?
