" The Sunday Times last weekend you could find Jeremy Clarkson fulminating about Americas authoritarianism and its taste for double-egg burgers"
Jeremy Clarkson?
Is he not the moron that used to present stupid program on cars about 8/10 years ago, on the BBC?.
If I remember him correctly, he was an insufferable idiot and a buffoon.
When did he start writing articles on politics, then? I see he sucks at political writing, just as he sucked on his stupid TV program.

I'm 46 years old and have spent considerable time in almost all US states, yet I've never seen or tasted a "double-egg burger" in my life. I know, I may be sheltered, but the point is this is the kind of imbecility that passes for profound insight among certain cliques of smug, drooling leftist poseurs. Find some irrelevant tidbit or two and blow it up into some gross generalization to fit your pitiful biases. Whoever Jeremy Clarkson is, he is definitely a fool.

He still does. Top Gear is quite entertaining, but that some people seem to be taking Clarkson seriously as a political columnist is quite laughable.
