I think some people are just born psychopaths - I went to school with one who was adopted as a baby and raised all right as far as anyone knew. After several escalating incidents, he went "away" after squirting acid into a pet rabbit's eyes.
It may not be the parents' fault. It does make me wonder what God was thinking.

All quite true. In this boy's case, we will never know if a good father and mother could have saved him from the life he is pursuing.

Climbed on top of one of the buildings at school dressed like an injun and shot a couple of other kids in the back with broad tipped arrows he fired from a compound bow. He split before the cops got there, made a run for it in a car he stole from his dad. He made it across two states before pulling a gun and firing on some Arizona Highway Patrol officers. buh-bye!

It defies liberal beliefs in the goodness of man. Some people are just born evil. We don't know why. Their moral switch is turned off at birth and they progress from bad to worse. Discipline is of no use since you can't shame someone lacks a conscience. A kid like this will see being arrested as a badge of honor. Usually a psychopath gets in trouble with the justice system as a teen. This one was inducted into it early.
