I do imagine that Ken Lay was mystified that he was being prosecuted for practices that were perfectly legal practiced by government. Somehow we the taxpayers have been conditioned to being 'ripped' off by government but let a business do it the government way and it becomes evil.

I just can't help but wonder if he was removed to keep from talking or someone had financial interests in keeping money from being distributed.

I won't disagree there are certainly reasons to speculate. However, I imagine the government knows darn well where every nickle and dime Lay had is.

I have wondered if the NYTimes need to tell US about the specific methods of tracking money globally was not reallllly about warning US, or more specifically some of US. There was someone specific that needed to know that specific data and I do not think they were turban wearing terrorists.

I saw that done with Stalin too. I believe it was approximately a year ago, I saw rumors of them (Stalin, Hitler, Lenin and a few others) being cloned.

That is aside from my reference I made in post 18 though.
