The reasons why they are going after him for the things he said is because they want to muzzle him

They aren't trying to muzzle him. They are going to hold him accountable for his actions.

I hope they strip him of all rank, any retirement benefits, lock him up for a couple years and then dishonorably discharge him.

As he is an officer his rank cannot be reduced. Also, officers do not receive a Dishonorable Discharge. Enlisted receive dishonorable discharges, the equivalent for an officer is dismissal from the service. Still, I agree with the sentiment.
