I'm a big fan of Rumsfeld and Cheney, but I have to tell you if Rumsfeld did ok this it's a serious lapse of judgement. I'm sure he didn't give the NY Times permission to tell everyone where his secret camera(s) are, but still it's not very smart on his part in my opinion.

Maybe he's jealous because Cheney got to shoot somebody in the face.

He might have said where those cameras are.

Yeah, I know. I just don't understand why he would even grant permission for such specificity. Not very smart, really isn't.
Would you publish where your house is on a website?

Chicos Bail Bonds....ah yes, right across the street from the courthouse in downtown Indio.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rumsfeld said "ok". What was he going to do, tell the NYT "no"? That would not have stopped them anyway. The NYT does not listen to the government when they tell them not to publish national security secrets. I doubt the NYT would halt publication of house photes. If he said no, they would have printed the story anyway and added a twist about how Rumsfeld is trying to cover up his "secret" vacation home.

Maybe he's jealous because Cheney got to shoot somebody in the face.Or maybe he's anxious for a little excitement, and probably was heard saying "I want some of that action!"

Well, the fact of the matter is that his house isn't a classified location. You can find any of his properties if you just ask the locals. It's also not illegal to take pictures of his home. Now if you actually enter his property, woe be unto you but standing off the property taking pictures isn't a crime.
That said, I don't see how it's anyone's business but his neighbors where he lives.

Maybe he's jealous because Cheney got to shoot somebody in the face..............just to watch him die.
And when he hears that whistle blowin',
He just hangs his head and cries.

Gee. Wonder when the Freeper Fringers are going to quit taking every unsubstantiated claim by our political foes as gospel truth? Amazing how no matter WHAT the story is certain "Freepers" have to find SOME way to twist it around to attack our side. Did any of them even bother to read the part how this supposed ok by Rumsfield is an usbstatiated claims by the same Treason Times staffers who have been caught in dozens of lies since the Fiscal Tracking story broke?

Would you publish where your house is on a website?Everyone's house is on the internet. Tell everyone your address, and anyone that can punch up a search engine can find it on a map or satellite image.

If Bill-the-Traitor-Keller had been arrested and tried
for ANY of his previous treasons, this would have been moot.

There is no mention that Cheney gave similar permission. And didn't the NYT article state where Lynn Cheney shops? Or was it Mrs. Rumsfeld?
Either way, I find it impossible to believe that either of these men would provide that level of detail about their wives shopping habits.

Everyone's house is on the internet. Tell everyone your address, and anyone that can punch up a search engine can find it on a map or satellite image. Yeah, my friend in Australia cheerfully sent ME a picture of my house, land, and neighborhood from all four compass directions, and thought it was the coolest, most hilarious thing!
And where he lives has no high resolution coverage.
He is a likable nut. Sent me Vegemite, too.
