So I guess this puts an end to any civil suit against him to recover the lost millions. That would seem to be a good reason for suicide or maybe it's a combination disappearance and coincident homicide of a look-alike. With the kind of coin he had, I have no doubt something like that could be arranged. If I were among the attorneys representing shareholders, I would demand DNA evidence of his demise.

Cause of death was a heart attck but the Liberals are saying in the Chat rooms Lay's death is a hoax.
This is sad for the Lay family but hysterical to watch the looney Left! (shaking head in amazement)

Well, I only hope all those Enron employees that got nothing for thier loyalty protest in a big way, his funeral. He got off tooooo easy. Some former Enron people may not have their homes anymore and he had the luxury to die in his "vacation" home in Denver. I hope he can be sued for his assets.

He won't be going to a nice place. I really hope his family doesn't get to keep a penny. Little more than a common criminal.

Feinstein, Boxer, Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton will. no doubt, line up to demand Lay be resurrected to serve out his prison term.
Anyone who knows what "Sarbanes-Oxley" means, understands that public corporations in America are already being punished for the crimes committed by Ken Lay's and others at Tyco and WorldCom.

Guy even had a PHD in economics, for what that is worth now. And Sheila Jackson Lee the only politician to issue a statement of condolence at the time of the story.
