If that happens, the NYT, Lichblau, Risen and Keller must be held accountable for their actions.

The Times doesn't even pretend to care for their employees and their chillins. Understand? Got It?

Unfortunately, if the Times were investigated and charged; the MSM would spin it into "McCarthy Hearings II". Movies would follow. The Times traitors and their sources would be portrayed as brave defenders of the `1st Amendment.

I'm not saying it shouldn't happen -- but, that'll probably be how it's spun.

We need to have a cartoon of Pres Bush trying to connect the dots, and making progress, and the media behid him trying to erase the connected lines.

"Times must share blame if people die in attack"

Newsweek's bogus koran/toilet story cost many lives in Afghanistan, but did they care? You think the NY Slimes will care if people die as a result of their sedition? Fat chance.

I don't know how it was a secret. Every time I make a major transaction at my bank I have to answer some sort of patriot act question. And I have a list provided to my business monthly of folks I cannot do business with...and if I do, and am caught, I will lose my business and go straight to jail. I hope everyone out there in business for themselves has this list. All their names are programmed into our computers.

All this is public knowledge. So what was the big secret NYT published? That we are tracking their transactions? Duh, they are tracking all major transactions and it's no secret.

What did I miss?

A quote from the Viet Nam War, addressing what many of us knew, but the likes of Hanoi Jane Fonda and Hanoi John Kerry denied by claiming the Viet Cong were a "revolutionary indigenous group," with no links to North Viet Nam. Northern Commuist Party Historian, Nguyen Khac-Vien, in a 1975 interview openly admitted that the VC were predominantly comprised of North Vietnamese Army regulars, saying, "The [Viet Cong] was always simply a group emnanting from [Hanoi]. If we [the North Vietnamese] had pretended otherwise for such a long period, it was only because we were not obliged to unveil our cards."

Even our enemies know when to keep their mouths shut. With the New York Slimes blabbing every secret they can discover, makes one wonder just who our real enemies are.

The Times said they did hold back on this story, but, I think we should take note that they released the story after President Bush's poll numbers went up. I think this is treason for the sake of politics.

I also love the perpetual whining about conservative bloggers and radio talk show hosts---as if those forms of media are mere gnats that will be shooed away if batted at long enough.

Moonbats such as the ed of the NYT still haven't appreciated that there's been a seachange in the MSM, that, in fact, there is a new media---one that bubbles from the ground up, rather than the other way around---and it is here to stay.

If your story can't survive the scrutiny the blogosphere---HELLO. That oughta tell you something. That's the new "editorial oversight." That's the new "accountability."

No way around it, Keller. You are not the last word on your paper's credibility or accuracy. Get used to it.

Speaking of the self anointed 'Newspaper of Record' ... yesterday I caught a snippet of the 'Laura Ingraham' show on the car radio. She read an e-mail from a young lieutenant sent to the editors of the NYSlimes. It addressed the issue of their releasing harmful information concerning the governments tracking terrorist funding around the world. The lieutenant's e-mail was well written stating that he sees daily what this funding buys terrorists ... the lieutenant is a Harvard law school graduate and was working in a clerkship capacity when called up for duty. He stated categorically that what the NY Times did broke the law and by the time he returns stateside he hopes the key editors have traded their A/C offices for a prison cell where they deserve to be.
This e-mail, to my knowledge, has not been posted here at FR ... if someone can find this e-mail it deserves to be posted, it was excellent.
