Sounds familiar. So, they're going to start cheating on the census now, eh? Hope others that are in a better position than I get the same vibe from this.

``We want to do something about it, make sure every person who should be counted is counted. We're going to look in every nook and cranny in Massachusetts to count everybody who is here." A 50% tax cut would be a whole lot more effective. ;)

I guess we could move a lot of illegal aliens to Mass!
Staying in Mass may be some of the jobs that Americans won't do.

The state can start counting the illegals, the dead, the tourists, the university students from other states...

"Everyone is wringing their hands about how we're losing population," said Galvin, whose office will work with researchers at the Donahue Institute at UMass to try to track hard-to-locate populations. I'm here to tell ya,boys and girls, that the movers and shakers of this state (both in and out of politics) are *genuinely* clueless as to why this state is losing population.
But after a thorough scouring of graveyards and foreign countries far and wide, they will find a million or more additional residents.
Watch for MA to gain three Congressional seats after the 2010 Census!

Solution is very easy: get the counters dead drunk. Then everything [whatever it is] will be counted twice. Now they need to stop the payment on that 100K check to University of Massachusetts think tank, and send me my fee - something modest but decent... say, a price of a VERY good restaurant dinner.

The less congressoinal lawmakers that come from Mass along with New York, the better for the rest of the country. Now only if California would lose some congressional seats, especially from the San Fran area.

They may count the same people twice, too.

Interesting info and surprising that Suffolk County is losing population. All the potato(e) farms must be developed. Still surprising. Apparently the more self-sufficient folks are voting with their feet.

Maybe they could count 'minorities' twice to make up for past malfeasance. Like a reparation kind of thing. Each gay person counts as two people because, not only are gay people just better than everyone else, but they might have been discriminated against at one time or another.
Sheesh...I better shut up. I don't want to give them too many ideas...lol

Connecticut is losing also. The Carolinas are the place of choice.

So I guess that means they've decided not to count John & Teresa.
