Oh Cubby! I'd not seen that Korean War memorial, ever. I got major chills, and teary, when I saw it.

I just wish I could thank every member of the military who ever lived, to give us such freedom, to make our shores and our heartland so free, so blessed, so prosperous! Especially those who labored under the hatred of their fellow "citizens" for making and preserving our freedoms.

I was not prepared for it. I had never heard a world about it, so almost skipped it, in my tiredness. But it is mesmerizing. Best ever. The statues are so tall, and the eyes on them so compelling that you want to look away. I read that they were depicted in raincoats because it was always cold and wet there. I will now most the wall there It is eerie.
