The way I see it ( if it's any consolation ) that God uses a mighty power to control human events and stamp out evil evil.

For those who don't believe the Bible here is something to consider and think about.

The Israelites were captured and forced into bondage for their disobedience towards God ( it was prophesied that they will go into Babylonian, and return to the promised land afterwords ).

God used a pagan King ( King Cyrus of Persia ) ( who also was prophesied in the book of Isaiah that whom God would raise up to defeat the Babylonians 200 years before he was born. )
God's divine will and sovereignty directed world events, and God used ( remember he was a pagan King who did not worship the God of Israel ) King Cyrus to deliver the Israelites from the hands of the Babylonians.
Not only did he set them free, but, made a decree that they would be protected and rebuild Jerusalem.
It was by God's will, sovereignty, and providence that the USA came into being.
It is by no accident that America is the greatest country that this world has ever known.
But, America has strayed away from it's Christian roots ( Yes, God ordained this county to be a " Christian Nation " in spite of what the heathens or the ungodly think and we need to repent and turn back to God.
What ever happens, God is using the USA for his purposes and divine will.

Thank God for a country like the USA, that is the most blessed.
Thank God that we live in the USA.

What America has is a sense of God infusing the natural realm with Himself, that realm responding according to His will, fully available for man to interact with.

God is not just supernatural and far away, He is here and now, and we walk with Him.

This must be the vital source of our Patriotism, the courage that moves men to sacrifice for this land and for the ultimate good of mankind, by promoting Liberty and Justice for all.

God bless America.
