Well, you could become famous and get a Pulitzer if you breached security and got more information than you NEED to know to conduct an operation, and I guess that's all that's important to the America/military hating media.

Well, you could be come famous and get a Pulitzer FIRED if you breached security and got more information than you NEED to know to conduct an operation.

It's sad to see the major dead tree and online news organizations get away with this behavior. In my daily operations, I see more and more crackdowns on malicious behavior when dealing with confidential material.

I personally know of two Majors and one Lieutenant Colonel who were discharged for letting "Top Secret" memos laying on their desk in full view of the office staff and/or visitors.
