Fox is journalism for juveniles. It is trite television. And with the exception of one hour a day (Hume controlled) it batters the senses and evokes the memory of Newton Minnow.

I would argue that the Journal Editorial Report is also quite good.  As is Fox News Sunday (most of the time... if Britt is on... especially if he unleashes a smack down!).  And though it's not news, per se, Oliver North's War Stories is excellent.

And I had to look up Newton Minnow to know that he is the one that called TV "the vast wasteland" in a speech in 1961.
