Former Cub Hee Sop Choi talked openly about what would have happened in his life if he had been born 60 miles north as he was born pretty close to the border between the 2 parts of Korea.
He said he would never have played baseball. Because of his size he would have been forced into work camps and used as a stud basically to help produce a super race.
Hee is 6'5. I'm not sure where he is right now. He was traded in 03 from the Cubs to the marlins who sent him to the Dodgers.
