RINO Governors almost to the last do nothing to further the Conservative agenda, they harm, rather than help, their cause, and ultimately cost the GOP. Democrat screw-ups almost always help the GOP. If it's a choice between a Republican pushing a liberal agenda vs. a Democrat, go with the latter. Let this time and time again proven failed agenda be associated and pushed by our enemies, not by OUR party.

The reason IL HAS Blagojevich as Governor is because its last GOP Governor was not only a RINO, but a criminal. He may very well be defeated this year, but I actually hope Blago is retained, because his opponent is a liberal Ryanite RINO harridan who will inflict MORE damage to the party than Blago can as a 'Rat. But the IL GOP has profound problems as it is, somewhat similar to CA, in that it has a perpetual RINO criminal class controlling it, one that runs out real reformers (like Sen. Fitzgerald).

You don't consolidate power by entrusting the job to someone who will DESTROY the party and piss on the Conservative agenda. Clean out our own house first and THEN press onward. Any other way doesn't work, it's that simple.
BTW, I might also point out that since Ah-nold won his recall, not a single, solitary 'Rat-held seat statewide or legislatively has flipped to the GOP in an election -- not a one. THAT is the end result of a RINO Governor, the Republican Party almost always loses.
