"I think our time could be better spent by you taking this opportunity to introduce us to your candidate, and reasons why we should consider voting for him or her."
"Excellent."
Thanks, and it was a sincere question, I have no idea what her point is.
I know she hates Arnold, and I can speculate that her point is to not vote for him, but really I'm in the dark about what she is promoting.
>> I have no idea what her point is.
Then why don't you just ask me?
I contend that the only way to hold ANY politician in check is to monitor their performance and when they stray from their promises to vocally point that out and reel them back in. When Republicans complained about all the liberal judges he has appointed, he began to appoint a few more Republicans (still not enough, but better). Some on these threads believe any action undertaken by an (R) should not be criticized whatsoever. I think that is wrong--and dangerous. If we are to have 4 more years of Arnold, as our REPUBLICAN candidate, then he should at least support SOME of the Republican platform. If you expect nothing from your elected representatives, that is exactly what you'll get--NOTHING.
The fact is that we have moved further left under Arnold than we were under Gray Davis. Arnold needs to be reeled in.
>> I know she hates Arnold
NO. I do not "hate Arnold." I do have a strong distaste for his LIBERAL ACTIONS as I see them as destructive to the State in which I have lived for decades.
Which will continue to be avoided, obfuscated, twisted, redirected and maligned.
