Is it possible for you to move it to one of the the appropriate ones?
I don't think there is an "appropriate" sidebar for 18 month old "class room" editions.

Isn't it obvious to you yet that the people who love taxes and spending most, including the Prsident, couldn't care less that illegals don't pay taxes and are a drain on society?...actually fighting their own citizens in favor of illegals...

Do you really think these same people are going to relinquish their power by passing a sales tax?...ONLY if it's in addition to the income tax...be careful what you wish for.

". . . Isn't it obvious to you yet that the people who love taxes and spending most, including the Prsident, couldn't care less that illegals don't pay taxes . . ."

Which, of course, explains why the President wants to legalize so many of them.

Yes, indeed, I think they will by the time elections are fully on their minds - there are two primary items internal to the US; taxes and illegal aliens in that order and the taxes will impinge upon the other one since it will add a disincentive to come here illegally because it raises the taxes of those who do.

Yes, the nrst does take away a major tool of the pols controlling us.

Put it this way...

Do you really think these politicians are going to relinquish ALL of their power by choosing not to support the nrst - and subsequently being voted out of office in favor of an nrst supporter?

Your analysis fails to recognize the numbers of people and the rate of growth of the nrst.

But lewis, the people who love taxes and spending most are the ones who care the most about wanting to legalize them.

Any new taxes always end up being "in addition to" the existing tax structure, never "in place of". Even if one tax is lowered to "make room" for a "new, improved tax" which is guaranteed and promised to stay at a low rate...it always ends up ballooning upward, then out of control. Original promises are long forgotten.

In other words, I'm against the Fair Tax proposal. Government even taxes my TV set by setting in place new broadcast laws that force me to buy a new TV set, soon making my old set obsolete.
