But they picked a case with only 12 acres at stake. There is no way those 12 acres had a substantial effect. I think i agree with the quote from justice Thomas - this is a blank check
Its a way to take away individual rights based on the premise that if millions of people did the same thing then together they would effect interstate commerce.
I can see extend in that to home schooling - if millions of families did that then less textbooks from some companies would be purchased by schools. I can think of many possible similar results.
