A carryover from last night's question on lyrics --
http://www.lyricshead.com/lyrics/brian-setzer/jump-jive-an%2592-wail-lyrics.html

Jump, Jive, an' Wail
Written by l. prima

Baby, baby it looks like it’s gonna hail
Baby, baby it’ looks like it’s gonna hail
You better come inside
Let me teach you how to jive and wail

You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail
You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail
You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail
You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail
You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail away!

Papa’s in the icebox lookin’ for a can of ale
Papa’s in the icebox lookin’ for a can of ale
Mama’s in the backyard learning how to jive and wail

(chorus)

A woman is a woman and a man ain’t nothin’ but a male
A woman is a woman and a man ain’t nothin’ but a male
One good thing about him
He knows how to jive and wail

Jack and jill went up the hill to get a pail
Jack and jill went up the hill to get a pail
Jill stayed up, she wants to learn how to jive and wail

(chorus)

Douglas MacArthur, FDR, and Harry Truman would just be slackjawed to see the Japanese PM (in blue jeans) and W sitting around chawing the Elvis fat on AF1 on their way to visit a deceased American rock music star's museum home.

You are right. To say "ironic" would be an understatement.

Thanks for the lyrics, Gretchen. They make a whole lot more sense than "drunk drivin' well."

Tends to appear in those who think with the left side of their brains

That reminds me of an online "left brain, right brain, or middle brain" quiz I took recently. I had not heard of people being middle brained (sounds weird, huh?), but I always wondered why I didn't seem to fit either the R or L stock description.

So I took the test and it said I am middle-brained. Here's what it said about that.

Those who are middle-brain dominant tend to be more flexible than either the left- or the right-brain folks; however, you often vacillate between the two hemispheres when you make decisions. You sometimes get confused when decisions need to be made because, neurologically speaking, you could do most tasks through either a left-brain or a right-brain method!

Special Awards - one night only

You better keep a sharp eye on those -- "one night only" makes them worth a mint!

Mike is very angry, with all those toasters, you'd think a guy could get breakfast once in a while.

Doesn't Lady and the Tramp have a little black scottie that looks like Barney? I think there's a Jock or a Trusty. Not sure.

Snarlin's not sure. It's been too long since She last saw the movie. But she loves Lady.

I agree with your assessment and would add that I think these two will remain fast friends when W leaves office, the way 41 has friends all over the world from when he was in public office and then president -- and makes time to go see them.

Oh, well. I'm sure when my little nephew is old enough to read to I'll get a de facto refresher course in all the Disney classics.

Georgie's going to say goodnight in third person now.

They all looked like they were having so much fun at Graceland. That is a high crime to the left. They are only happy when they're miserable, whining, and ranting. Oh yes, and thinking up new lies about the President.

I wondered too if Koziumi was married??????

My guess is that Laura and Dubya will be giggling in their beds tonight after lights out. What a day they had!!! Doubtful there has ever been such a day in any President's life.

Thank you so much for tonight's Dose Mike! It must have been fun, in spite of all the work, to post these great photos and the remarks made by PM Koizumi. The first photo is fantasitic.
