HEY! Don't make fun of that, I did the exact same thing when I was about 6. ( except I made the bow out of a tree branch).

Yeah, me too, but my arrows were straight sticks(or as straight as I could find them)not curtain rods! I was really surprised when I got older and found out you could actually buy a bow! The difference between me and hilda beast is I never had to feed my family with my home made tree limb bow. She must be an extraordinary person, well at least one filled with an extraordinary amount of BS!

Well, One of my uncles was a Boyer ( a friend of Fred Bear) and by the time I was 7-8 I learned to make a "self bow" from hickory, my uncle gave me arrows from his arrow shop.
