If we had the press today back in the 1940's during the Manhattan Project indeed there may have been a very drastic outcome to WW2. The gated city today would be impossible. Clinton Engineer Works was the company. Clinton is a town about 5-7 miles or so up river. Oak Ridge is where the company was located and was the biggest kept secret of WW2 the gated city on the Clinch River :>} Many worked there only a few though knew why.
The granddaughter of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg is an activist AGAINST the US right now.
It has always been good vs. evil. And many many have died in that battle.
