I really dont remember. LOL
Hello, Bah.
Wouldn't it therefore be possible for Congress to go back and amend their original bill to make it retroactive to cover the slimballs case? And also clarify who's got the power to sign and approve treaties in this system?
They would then be avoiding a power struggle with the Court and get the same affect
The court implied that the president overreached. Now that's funny.
RUSH FINALLY SAID IT
Yes, I am questioning your patriotism.
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
"HOW WOULD YOUR ACTIONS BE ANY DIFFERENT if you WEREN'T trying to undermine this country?"
Retroactive laws are unconstitutional.
Bin Laden wants Zarqoui's body? President Bush should say "well come get him punk!"
Hi all..late to the party..did I miss a good Rush rant?
Not sure I was sleeping and awoke to Rush yelling, but it could have been anything. :)

Bin Laden can go pound sand.
One would think. One cannot make things a crime retroactively.
However, with things like this, where jurisdiction is an issue, not the crime itself, Congress has gone back and clarified to solidify intent.
LOL, oh he will, he will.
LOL. Weasely Clark is on Fox and his eyelids are exremely made up. FGS, he wants to turn the detainees over to an international court.
Well keep an eye on Jeff Sessions, if it can be done he will find a way.
Him and BOR where drooling over international courts the other night.
OK, whatever country tries them and sets them loose has to keep them. ;)
Good point! We all need at least one senator like Cute-As-A-Button.
LOL
He is going off on how bad the USSC decision really is - referring to John Armor's (Congress BillyBob) piece. It is on another thread, further up this one.
Sessions needs a committee chairmanship. Preferably Judiciary. Can he get there a a junior Senator?
