Saw this on Drudge.
Like a dog marking its territory, such is the paranoia of the Left that they feel the need to take a beloved AMERICAN icon and revoke his citizenship in order to make themselves feel better by bolstering their credibilty as "Global Citizens."
Superman is saving "humanity" now and can take his place amongst the other great "Progressive" Comic Book Heroes: Castro, Mao, and Stalin.
Singer is a talented director, however his contempt for America was made clear in the first two X-Men movies. His message is clear: Humanity must be saved from itself. Typically, those of us mere mortals can't be trusted to do this job. We need "progressives" with mutations or an extraterrestrial lineage to save us (hence the nomination of Al-Gore and John Kerry).
Sadly, while he wishes for a "Superman" to save him from George W Bush's America, the rest of us (in reality) can only continue to honor the memory and legacy of the true Supermen who protect our Liberty daily in Iraq and elsewhere. These are the true Heroes.
