I'm not sure I believe anything they say. They appear to be best friends with Kennedy and Kerry. They tolerate pedophile priests. There recently was another pedophile priest in chicago who was being sheltered by the Church while abusing other little boys. Kennedy and Kerry support stem cell research and want it funded. I like the new Pope and I am still hoping that the Church will stop being afraid of the Kennedys. If they don't enforce adherence to the tenets of the Church, then the Church will continue to lose its young people who can see right through the hypocrisy.

I completely understand your arguments. What I do not understand is why the Archbishop of the Diocese of Boston has not already excommunicated the two. It is one thing to say, "my people support abortion so I cannot vote against it" and then calmly abstain from any action, but it is quite another to actively work to support abortion in opposition to the Church. Indeed, I would not minister the Holy Eucharist to either one.

Me too. I was baptized Methodist and joined the Catholic church this past Easter.

Kennedy and Kerry, et.al. can claim all day long they are practicing Catholics but that doesn't make it so. Christ said that not all those who say "Lord, Lord" will be saved. So too, not all who claim to be Catholics are Catholics. Money and power will mean nothing to God on Judgement Day. The Kennedys and the Kerrys of the world just don't understand this.
