Great point. Wisdom is knowledge rightly used. There's none of that in the evo arguments.

So what do you think about wise RobRoy's post 526? I, who apparently have mere knowledge but lack wisdom (since I'm a dreaded evo, QED), think that RobRoy's slavish bibliolatrous reading of Leviticus has caused him to embrace a truly evil belief: That it's morally acceptable for parents to kill their offspring if they don't turn out the way the parents wanted them to.

What is your judgement on that?

It cracked me up to read the word "bibliolatrous" in your post. I thought you had made up a word but I found out you didn't. If I use it 3 times today it's mine for life, right? :-)

My judgement is that this discussion about Leviticus has nothing to do with the Crevo discussion. My response to him was solely about Evolution, not about Levitical law or morality. You can continue to discuss those aspects of it with him.

But, since you asked, I do not at all agree with the idea that Levitical codes allow parents to kill their children and that makes it acceptable. I think that is an evil thing to do. But you are obviously aware that in this modern age many governments have actually gone back to a similar idea by embracing abortion, especially the concept of late-term abortion.
