You apparently never heard of Buddha.
I expect that RobRoy has heard of Buddha. You may have even shared my belief, when you wrote your words. I could say with equal merit: You apparently never heard of being polite.
Ive heard of Buddha, of course. But if you are an expert, please tell us more. If you believe you can articulate a persuasive basis for morality absent God, that would be a positive contribution. I would be interested in what you have to say.

Buddha taught a moral code that relied on logic, not God.

The basis of biology and evolution is survival of the species. Anyone acting immoral threatens the species thus the members of the species would 'reinforce' to him that he was not acting in the interest of the species. From many such interactions over eons, a moral code would develope.
