Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger made a stop downtown Thursday morning to urge the passage of the get-tough sex offender bill known as Jessica's Law.

The governor joined District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, Sheriff Bill Kolender and San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders to ask voters to pass the bill, which will appear on the November ballot as the Sexual Predator and Punishment Act of 2006.
