The Islamic Circle of North America, is holding their annual convention in Hartford, Connecticut this Friday (June 30) through Sunday (July 2).

Some of the speakers:

Imam Siraj Wahaj

an un-indicted co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing, has called for replacing the American government with an Islamic caliphate, and warned that America will crumble unless it accepts Islam.

Imam Zaid Shakir

“Every Muslim who is honest would say, I would like to see America become a Muslim country,” he said. “I think it would help people, and if I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t be a Muslim. Because Islam helped me as a person, and it’s helped a lot of people in my community.”

Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi

During an anti-Israel rally outside the White House on Oct. 28, 2000, Siddiqi openly threatened the United States with violence if it continued its support of Israel. “America has to learn ... if you remain on the side of injustice, the wrath of God will come. Please, all Americans. Do you remember that? ... If you continue doing injustice, and tolerate injustice, the wrath of God will come.” By “injustice,” he meant U.S. support for Israel.

Siddiqi also has called for a wider application of sharia law in the United States, and in a 1995 speech praised suicide bombers. “Those who die on the part of justice are alive, and their place is with the Lord, and they receive the highest position, because this is the highest honor,” he was quoted as saying by the Kansas City Star on Jan. 28, 1995.

Imam Mohammad Magid

Magid, who was born and educated in the Sudan, is the Director of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS). ADAMS has numerous close affiliations with the main targets of “Operation Green Quest,” “the largest U.S. terror finance investigation anywhere in the world.” In March 2002, federal agents raided ADAMS’s facility in Herndon, Virginia, as part of an investigation into financial support for terrorism. Federal affidavits state that the “Grove Street addresses” (500 and 555 Grove St. in Herndon) housed more than 100 interlocking Muslim organizations, most headed by Jamal Barzinji, and these groups gave material aid to terrorists. Among those raided were several major ADAMS associates, including its chairman. Magid himself was present when federal agents raided the Herndon offices of ADAMS in March 2002.

And those are only the speakers from Sunday...

The question is, why does Bush completely ignore the Saudi/Wahhabist money pouring into this country that fund schools, mosques, think tanks and lobbies that strive towards Sharian law for all?

If he's been "completely ignoring" it so much, why is it the Dems are whining inconsolably about the administration's snooping into financial accounts linked to terrorists?

If he's been completely ignoring it, what was Operation Greenquest all about? Baseball card trading?

Instead, he sent a hundred thousand troops and 300 billion dollars to secular Iraq.

Anyone who thinks of Iraq as "secular" hasn't read one of Saddam Hussein's speeches, seen his Grande Mosque construction project, or paid attention to the Sharia laws he was imposing in Iraq in his latter years as he was working to cultivate intensely religous factions inside IRaq and outside for his own ends.

Iraq flagrantly violated a ceasefire agreement involving the demanded discolosure of WMD programs, dismantlement of facilities, and repatriation of over 602 1993 Gulf War hostages, as well as US POW and a few US nationals it had taken in more recent years. [One was executed in the late 90s.] Sooner or later you have to enforce diplomatic agreements - you don't let them slide any more than you would let your teenager get away with ignoring your authority- if you do you'll get tested and burned for years to come.

Iraq was engaging in blackmail using terrorists as middlemen; its intelligence officers were operating inside the US, assassinating dissidents within our borders. Its intelligence services had met with a number of 9/11 hijackers, and also with al Qaeda leaders including bin Laden himself in Iraq, Sudan and Afghanistan. Iraq was aiding and utililizing terrorists in Israel, in the Philippines, in Europe, in Africa, and in the USA. Its diplomats were involved in acts of terrorism which took the life of a US soldier in the Philippines well before this war; its intel people were involved with a group which assassinated a US diplomat in Jordan also before the war, a group which had also plotted to poison water supplies for our troops; its personnel were caught scouting areas in Europe also known for hosting US military HQ; it had personnel who had attended the very Malaysian meeting where the USS Cole bombings were discussed and 9/11 planned.

Iraq was engaging in a bribery scheme on a global scale which had eroded sanctions and compromised governments far and wide, impairing our relations with countries whose facilities we need to service our naval forces.

It was violating sanctions in using front groups to procure forbidden equipment, materials and technical assistance for reinvigorating its WMD programs once sanctions were lifted. It was violating 1991 agreements by developing long rage missiles and by outsourcing its R&D to third countries. It was reconstrucintg lab facilities and missile engine test stands. It was providing safe-haven and even pensions for terrorists who had been involved in the 1993 bombing of the WTC in NY and in hijacking schemes in the Philippines, providing training camps, arms and funds to al qaeda-linked terrorist groups. You've got to start somewhere and Iraq was as good a place as any to set up a roach motel.
