We all do what we have to do and should NOT be judged nor questioned; especially by those who don't even have any children, but see themselves as "experts"."
I know you are right...but when someone tells me to "run the numbers and I will see" (that I don't need to work)...it really RUBS ME THE WRONG WAY!
My friends would LAUGH at that comment because the call me the "queen of budgeting!"..

I have actually helped SEVERAL FRIENDS learn to budget and budget better in order to cut back to working part-time or not work at all..
They figure if WE can do it...THEY can do it!
I appreciate your words...you ARE RIGHT...and I usually don't jump in on these threads that start to be about something OTHER THAN WHAT THE THREAD WAS ABOUT...but this time...I just didn't keep my mouth shut!
I began to read this thread when it began and then left quickly. I came back to it and saw what it had devolved into and was horrified!
I was a stay at home mom. I was fortunate enough to do a very great deal for my child; however, I do know that some mothers aren't in the same position I was and MUST work. I can't fault them for that. They do it because they MUST!
Those who came onto this thread, hijacked it, and then did their best LEFTY/LIBERAL exacerbation of those whom they neither known nor understand their lives AND without having children of their own, needed to be called out....so I did.
I'm sure that you are a good mother, just as I am positive that far too many p;eople here attempt to talk about things they actually know nothing at all about, but love to pretend that they are "experts" in. They need to just keep quiet!
