Why didn't the kiddie kennel employees call mom to ask where the baby was that day?

This is one of my biggest points...don't put your kid in a place where they don't call!
Who knows what kind of cr@p could happen these days...kidnapping, parent-napping, left-in-the-car....
If the kid isn't there within a half-hour of the time scheduled...call!
Folks who use a small family day-care will say there's no time for that.
If you are a small, family day-care, what is the answer? Shouldn't you call?
