Accessories! Exactly right. Too many women think of the kid as just another possession. I don't know the woman in question here, but- as a woman- I will call this nothing less than criminal neglect. Accidental or othewise, the damage is the same. How is this different than negligent homicide? The neglect causing the death of someone-in this case her own baby. Criminal neglect, or criminal stupidity.
Bottom line, IMO, people who 'forget' babies in cars, causing the babies death, should be sterilized at the least, charged with negligent homicide at the most.( Men or women)
For God's sake, if you had a dog and your neglect caused its death, you would be charged and wouldn't be allowed to own animals anymore. Even if the baby is your own 'property', why is a child's death less than your pets?
What should be done to over-the-top, raving posters to this thread? Lobotomy?
