Moms and dads are fallible. Except for some freepers who are perfect and have never had a lapse of judgement.

But for the grace of g-d, that could have been any parent I know.

It seems that this situation started when parents were required to put babies in the back seat. I don't recall hearing about this when baby car seats were allowed in the front.

I have 9 kids. I worked full time when some of them were infants. I am not a perfect parent and I have had many lapses of judgement (most of them involving financial decisions), but I never left any of my kids alone to die in a hot car because I forgot about them.

That gives me chills. How many otherwise normal people are driving around not knowing where their small children are?
